A chain link fence separates the backwoods from the parking lot while grass pokes through cracks in the pavement. It is the perpetual goal of civilization to build a world apart from nature, yet it thrives in the heart of our cities and on the outskirts of human development. It is quiet and resistive, unmoving in its growth. At the intersection of our worlds, our own footprint is in contention. We strive for separation yet exist within the other.

Intersection was created as an installation piece with a specific, geometrically fitted layout.
